Run by renowned sculpture artist Kiki Thompson from Verbier, Switzerland, this 2.5 day workshop will teach you the skills needed for abstract alabaster sculpting & modelling. At the end of the workshop, you will walk away with your own beautiful creation.
Accommodation at Lacoste, meals & course materials are included in the price.

The Alabaster sculpting workshop
If you've always wanted to try sculpture and creating form from beautiful materials then this is a workshop for you. Alabaster is part of the marble family, other than being remarkably beautiful it has also been favoured by sculptors over the centuries because of its fine and soft structure making it easy to sculpt using a series of fine rasps, files & sand papers. Accommodation is in the grounds of the Château Lacoste, there are 6 doubles bedrooms available. All of the facilities at the château are at your disposition during the workshop.

Meals are convivial and catered for by Château Lacoste and you will share the experience with your fellow workshop guests. The menus are largely based on cuisine local to France and the South West region. Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. Of course tell us if you have specific dietary requirements.
